At Outdoorsmen Church we believe that solid biblical preaching is a must, that is why Mark Hasenyager preaches through books of the Bible without avoiding the tough questions. Jesus said "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." (Matthew 28:18-20) We do our best to teach what Jesus has taught us to the culture around us in a way they will understand it so that all those we come in contact with may know Jesus and make Jesus known to their community. |

All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.
2 Timothy 3:16-17
At Outdoorsmen Church the authority of Scripture is essential to what we believe. In Scripture we find words of life and truth that challenge us each to grow closer to Jesus and reach out to a world in need of Him.
As we study through Scripture at Outdoorsmen Church we pause every once and a while to dig deeper into key life issues. Whether those issues have to do with family, work, play, friends, enemies, etc., how we handle ourselves in each situation is an indication if we are following after what the world has taught us or adhering to the teachings of Gods Word.
Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of Gods mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God—this is your spiritual act of worship. Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what Gods will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.
Romans 12:1-2
Finances, faith, hope, surrender, peace, contentment, reaching out, relationships, addictions, creation, etc., are just some of the topics discussed in Scripture. You will find that the Bible will challenge us in many of these topics to go further in our relationship with Jesus and encourage those around us to wrestle with many of these ideas to understand more fully the riches of the Word of God.
My purpose is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.
